We have been contacted by a group called REMAP. They make one off prosthetics to help make life easier for people which cannot be accessed off the shelf

They are looking for more referrals, and mentioned wanting to help more people access sport. If you know of anyone who may benefit from this service please contact them directly.

On Tuesday 14th November at the Royal Yacht Squadron, over 40 people representing a range of sports clubs from the Island came together to network, share ideas and learn how The IOW Sports Foundation and Energise Me can benefit the development of clubs and coaches. A key theme of the evening was that cross-sport interaction can be very beneficial as “coaching is coaching” regardless of whether this is within a table tennis club or a netball club. Coaches and clubs shared best practice, helping others in the room benefit from successful examples in managing and developing volunteers and coaches or recruiting new members.
